Spicy Prawn Mayo Sandwich

Step 1.

Combine the prawns with 3 tbsp Pret Korean Style Ketchup and set aside.

Step 2.

Get your BBQ on and thinly slice your spring onions.

Step 3.

Mix the juice of a lemon with 2 tbsp Pret Korean Style Ketchup, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, and spring onions. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 4.

Pop your prawns on the hot BBQ and cook for 2-3 mins until cooked through and pink. Allow your prawns to cool slightly before mixing them with the tangy sauce. If you don't have a BBQ, you can always pan-fry the prawns.

Step 5.

Cut your avocado in half and remove the stone. Peel off the avocado's skin and slice its flesh thinly. Shred your lettuce and mix it with a tbsp of the prawn sauce before seasoning it with salt and pepper.

Step 6.

Slice open your baguettes and spread on a layer of butter. Grill these baguettes buttered side down on the residual heat of the BBQ to warm them slightly. Remove your baguettes from the BBQ and layer them with your saucy prawn mixture, lettuce, avocado and finish with a scattering of sesame seeds. Chop your sandwich into two and enjoy.

If you don’t have a BBQ just pan fry the prawns in a little bit of oil in a hot pan.

150g Raw King Prawns Shelled
4 Small Crusty Baguettes
1 Lemon
5 Tbsp Pret Ketchup
4 Tbsp Mayo
1 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 Spring Onions
Handful Iceberg Lettuce
2 Tsps Black And White Sesame Seeds
1 Tbsp Butter
Salt
Pepper
