Great British Apples Overnight Oats (3 Ways)

Overnight oats. 3 ways. So simple, so delicious. The perfect breakfast to go.

Cooking Time (Includes Preparation Time): 10 Minutes of Prep. for each one, then leave overnight.

1. Great British Apple, Carrot and Ginger Overnight Oats 

Ingredients:

  • 200g Rolled Oats

  • 300ml Almond Milk

  • 300ml Coconut Milk

  • 1 Tsp Ground Ginger

  • 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup

  • 2 British Apples such as Braeburn

  • ½ Carrot

  • 1 Knob of Ginger

Method

  1. Mix the oats, almond milk, coconut milk, ground ginger and maple syrup in a large bowl.

  2. Core and chop the British apple, chop the carrot and grate the ginger. Then fold them into the mixture, leaving a little apple aside.

  3. Cover, then put in the fridge overnight or for at least 4 hours.

  4. When ready, divide into 4 cups and top with the leftover apple. 

2. Great British Apple and Cinnamon Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

  • 200g Rolled Oats

  • 600ml Coconut Milk

  • 3 British Apples such as Gala, Chopped

  • 1 Tsp Honey, plus extra for drizzling

  • 1/8 Tsp Ground Cinnamon, plus extra for sprinkling

  • 2 Tbsp’s Coconut Yoghurt

  • 1 Tsp Chia Seeds

Method:

  1. Mix oats, coconut milk, British apple, chia seeds, honey and cinnamon in a bowl. Cover, then put in the fridge overnight or for at least 4 hours.

  2. Remove from fridge.

  3. Top with a layer of chopped apples, and finish with cinnamon, a drizzle of honey, and coconut yoghurt.

3. Great British Apple Nutty Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 200g Rolled Oats

  • ¾ Tsp Ground Cinnamon

  • 300ml Apple Juice

  • 300ml Almond Milk

  • 1 British Apple such as Cox, Coarsely Grated

  • 100g Chopped Nuts or Seeds 

Method:

  1. In a bowl or container, combine the rolled oats, cinnamon, apple juice and almond milk.

  2. Add the grated British apple, and mix until completely combined.

  3. Cover the bowl and leave in the fridge overnight.

  4. In the morning, stir approximately half of the chopped nuts into the overnight oats. If the oats are too thick, also add a little milk.

  5. Divide the overnight oats between 4 bowls. Top with the remaining nuts and enjoy!
