The best recipe for smoked tofu.
Make sure you bubble your sauce down until it is nice and thick.

2 x 225g Smoked Tofoo - £4.00
Soy Sauce - £0.60
1 x 400ml Tin of Coconut Milk - £0.80
Knob of Ginger - £0.15
Chilli Flakes - £0.85
400g of Basmati Rice - £0.50
1 Bunch of Coriander - £0.70
Smooth Peanut Butter - £0.60
Cornflour - £0.40
Total Cost - £8.70
Get a saucepan on a medium-heat.
Add your coconut milk to the pan with a grated knob of ginger, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1.5 tablespoons of peanut butter. Whisk everything together.
Keep mixing and cooking until the sauce is a thick, pouring consistency. Set aside.
Get your rice on (follow pack instructions).
Cut your tofu into finger sized slices. Coat each piece of tofu in cornflour.
Heat a frying pan with some vegetable oil. Add your tofu pieces to the pan. Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
Serve your crispy smoked tofu on a bed of steaming rice. Pour your sauce over the top. Scatter over some chopped coriander leaves and tuck in!
