Adding water to the pan with the pork makes sure you keep the meat succulent.

- Total Cost - £9.93 - This covers absolutely everything. All we assume you have in your kitchen beforehand is SALT, PEPPER AND OLIVE OIL.
- Add pork chops to a bowl. Add 1 grated clove of garlic and a large grated thumb of ginger. Pour in 3 tablespoons of soy sauce. Mix everything together, cover with cling film and leave marinade for 10 minutes.
- Add pork chops to a frying pan with a splash of olive oil. Fry on a medium heat for 4 minutes, and then flip. Add a small glass of water to de-glaze the pan. Allow the water to reduce.
- After 4 more minutes, flip the chops again. Add another splash of water. Fry for another minute, and then flip again. Check the chops are cooked through, and then remove from the heat.
- Slice up pork chops and set aside to rest.
- Broth time. Pour 600ml water in pan. Add two tablespoons of miso paste. Add a chopped red chilli. 4 chopped spring onions. And 1 star anise. Bubble away for 10 minutes.
- At this point, cook ramen noodles in a pan of boiling water.
- Remove the broth from the heat.
- Assembly time. Into a bowl add a helping of noodles. Ladle over your broth. Then add strips of pork. Top with coriander leaves and spring onions. Enjoy!
